This partnership of Sean McMillan and Michael Newman brings together some 30 years of experience in the design and construction of a wide variety of sailing and powered craft.

Currently the portfolio of over 100 designs covers a diverse range from pocket cruisers to world girdling Super Yachts, with over 40 successful launchings in the last decade.

We pride ourselves on taking a fresh and innovative approach to each commission. This, combined with many years of experience building yachts, allows us to offer our clients a unique combination of creative imagination and practicality.

Spirit Design are the designers of the supremely elegant 'Spirit' range of yachts which have set the standards in state of the art technology allied with uncompromising beauty.
