This remarkable powerboat is designed with a completely flexible layout, allowing it to be an exciting and comfortable motor yacht in its own right, or to be tailored to operate as a very effective superyacht tender.

Displacing only 4.5 tonnes, the P40 is driven by a pair of 260hp straight six turbo diesels resulting in astonishing performance - 36 knot top speed, 29 knot cruise and standstill to planing in around seven seconds. Venturi chines draw air under the hull reducing drag dramatically. This, combined with the extraordinary power to weight ratio, results in class beating fuel economy - typically less than 25lts/hr at 30 knots!

As a motoryacht, the P40 is most comfortably configured with an open plan double berth layout below with scope for additional accommodation in the delightful deck saloon. Dining can be in the saloon or alfresco in the cockpit, the wheelhouse can be enclosed or semi-enclosed, and with Vee drives or outdrives and engines aft or centrally placed - the permutations are endless.

As a Superyacht tender, the P40 is quite unique. It is capable of carrying up to 1200 litres of dischargeable fuel and 1000 litres of water, it can house extra crew, it can absorb the washing machine and dryer, more freezer space, extra watermaker - in short, whatever is needed. Best of all it can nip easily into harbour for those last minute necessities, not to mention being an excellent (and most impressive) water taxi for collecting guests!
